It is unreal how fast life changes – and we have to struggle to keep up! This is certainly a strange time for me – everything is up in the air and I have the opportunity to change everything I want to about my life. Of course I'm dying to toss the whole lifestyle – New York City, stand-up comedy, all of it. I want to jump in my car, head out on the road and go wherever it takes me. Wanderlust, that's what I've got.

It's no big deal but the problem is the Super. He's kind of stuck here, and one thing I discovered, traveling without the Super isn't much fun!

Without the Super, who has to get my coffee in the morning? Me! Without the Super, who has to find nearby activities and adventures? Me! Without the Super, who does all the driving? Me! Well without the Super vacation just kind of sucks!

So how do I liberate my husband from this job of his? I could blow up his company headquarters. I could concoct an elaborate scheme to get him fired like the plot of some sort of stupid romantic comedy movie.

I could dart him and release him in Hawaii, like they do on Animal Planet. I could tell him I have a fatal illness that can only be cured by constant travel.

Or I could just wait. Wait a little bit longer. He's only got a few years to go till retirement! Hopefully I won't croak between now and then!

It's only a few years. I guess I can keep telling jokes and working in Manhattan for a few more years. Why not? Seriously, you know and I know, I'm not going anywhere without my Super. So, anybody got a job in Manhattan for me?

The Super - my favorite travel companion
