    We need to stop denying our history of enslavement.

    I say we better recognize!

    Racism is a basic part of our founding culture. Racism echoes in a systemic, institutionalized, sociological and psychological way, in every aspect of our lives.

    Changing the name of this historic bridge can not go far enough.
