People, the Almost Winter Comedy Show was successful. I still wish it were better attended, but it was a good show and the audience enjoyed it very much. Some friends who are former co-workers surprised me and showed up. That was thrilling! Thanks, Richard and Steven. You were a big part of my joy. 😂 😂
My closest friends, Bob and Judy, attended – one drove me there, and the other drove me home. I’m always so happy when they can both make it. They are family to me. (The good kind.) ❤❤❤ I'll be spending my birthday with them on 12/21 and am grateful.
After the show, Steven, Richard, Judy and I went to the bar next door for a drink and some fun talking. It always makes me feel good when my friends tell me how much they enjoyed the comics. And they did. Jean Kim, Ron Long, Rhonda Hansome (and I) delivered. They were all hilarious. In my opinion, I have good taste.
My show at The Artist is seasonal. The next one will be in March 2026 as long as the Glicks are still there running the place. I am grateful to them for so much. They are wonderful people. I feel fortunate to know them. ❤❤
January 17th at 9pm, I'll be in the EAT DRINK LAUGH show at Pangea. Details to come.
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year, Three Kings Day, Eid, winter solstice … hope we all are safe and healthy. 😍
May the gangsters take a time-out. Maybe try something radically different -- feeding a stray, bringing flowers to someone you care about, hugging yourself?
A little neighborhood news: A drunk man in the liquor store told me he needed a dollar. I told him I couldn’t help him. Then he leaned closer and told me he wanted to take me home. (Yes, these are the propositions I get.) I told him he’d need way more than a dollar. We both laughed and it ended on an okay note punctuated by a high five. 👐
Much love to CGG-M 💓 💕 💓
