Have a Seat, Why Don'tcha?
Tuesday, April 10, 2018
Hey comedy appreciators! The price has been discounted for the next Funny Underground Comedy Krew show! $7 on line! Now that’s affordable for most. Get your tickets on line to benefit from the sale.Life has been full of stuff, good and bad. So much is swirling in my head.I am trying to focus on the positive. Not easy, but worth aiming for.I had a couple of days off from the job which made a 4-day weekend. Ofcourse, it would be more fun to have 4 days off with money to enjoy, but I still appreciated the unstructured time. I cleaned some which was badly needed. The toilet is sparkling. I now have an available seat for company. At the Broadway Comedy Club, however, there are many seats. Lookingforward to seeing you there!

Wanna Hear Something Funny?
Tuesday, March 6, 2018
Wanna Hear Something Funny?Come on out to the Funny Underground Comedy Krew (F.U.C.K.) show on Friday evening. I’m sure you’ll hear much funny. The producer, Aaron Smith, was smart enough to double the estrogen in the show. At first I was it, but he since added Nichole Spain. Looking forward. Okay, the men are funny too.
Tickets cost less on line and a bit more at the door.Any fine artist out there looking to hire a portrait model? Any writer outthere needing a pair of keen eyes to proofread your manuscript? Need a loving person to walk your dog or feed your cat? Want to hire a not-your-typical comic? Willing to pay for me to give a poetry reading? Have an acting role for me to try out for? If you need someone to do an odd or one-time job, talk to me. I need to eat. I helped a friend scrub some stuff a couple of weeks ago for some cash. I also enjoyed an opportunity to pet her cats. So talk to me whatever the task might be.Nothing sexual is for sale. I know most of my readers wouldn’t think thatit is, but some people hear what they need to hear. And some hear with a different organ than their ears.

Come on Out for Some Entertainment
Wednesday, February 28, 2018
Hi everyone. A couple of announcements and then I have to sleep.
Thursday, March 1st and Friday, March 2nd, I am in one of these one-act plays written by Lehman College students. I was cast in Passing where I play a high school principal, a new experience for me. Admission is free. Located on the beautiful Lehman College campus. So if this sounds intriguing to you, come on over. The D train or the 4 train to Bedford Park Blvd in the Bronx leaves you a few blocks from the college.
Then on Friday, March 9th at 7pm at Broadway Comedy Club, I'll be doing stand-up in the Funny Underground Comedy Krew show. On-line tickets are $15; $20 at the door.Come out for some entertainment! I'll be happy to see you! With much appreciation, Mindy

Other than that, muchos problemas, but it may all be part of life’sprocess. I try to continue to have faith in the power of good. There are indeed some angels in my life. I also need more income to remain hanging onto the hamster wheel, so if you or anyone you know needs a freelance proofreader, I have lots of experience. I've been told I am very good at it. I can sit still for portrait painters. I have much experience doing that too. Of course, paid acting roles and comedy spots are very welcome!A sample of my comedic acting:Posted by Mindy Matijasevic at 12:00 AM | Labels: "My Son", "What Were the Sixties Really Like?", Bronx Tales, Days of Wild, Funny Underground Comedy Krew, Mindy Matijasevic, Twisted Lipstick Comedy Show | 4 comments | Email This BlogThis! One Less Brick ...
Tuesday, September 5, 2017
I can only suppose that my blogging absence has been partly due to trying to write my piece for the “What Were the 60s Really Like?” show. It was the decade in which I grew up. I wrote in my head for weeks, then kept running from it. I was tempted to drop out of the show several times. Yet I knew if I could get through it, I'd feel good. At least one brick off my chest. The show was not a comedy show, so I’m often mixed about sharing it here. Yet this “She So Funny” site is about the female involved in comedy in some way – it isn’t necessarily funny. We all have a back story, a life that is not necessarily joke-filled. Somehow, I did mix some humor in.We were under a time limit, so many voices could be heard. The part I am in is below. If you want to go straight to my presentation, start it at 14:50 where I get introduced. The summer was sprinkled with many nice moments and days, but until my son and I are okay again, I carry a great weight on my heart daily. In spite of much, I managed to cause laughter at Broadway Comedy Club in the Funny Underground Comedy Krew (F.U.C.K.) show and will be back there on Sunday, October 29th for a 7:30 show. But don't wait that long. I will be doing stand-up on Saturday, September 23rd during the break in an 8pm music show on City Island -- the Starving Artist Cafe. Days of Wild with Papa Guyo Guyocious & Friends.
