Hey people.  I have several things coming up that I hope will appeal to you.

The Abstract Figure Painting class I’ve been taking at the Bronx Museum of the Arts will be concluding on October 7^th.  Two days later will be an opening night for the new exhibit by professional artists.  They will be including a work or 2 from each of us unprofessional artists on the lobby level.  Please consider yourself invited.

Friday, October 9^th -- Bronx Museum of the Arts, Grand Concourse and 165^th Street.  D train to 167^th Street or Bx1 or Bx2 bus to 165^th Street. It's from 6-8pm.  FREE!  Refreshments available, also free. 

Saturday, October 10^th -- Free Poetry reading will take place at 2pm at the Riverside Library, 65th and Amsterdam (across from Lincoln Center).  This is to celebrate the Riverside Poets 2026 Anthology.  (Copies available for $20 each.)  At about 4:30, we will walk to the picnic tables at lovely Riverside Park South, where we will have a free picnic with catered food and drink.

Friday, October 23^rd – Dance of the Word at 7pm at 353 West 48th Street, between 8th and 9th. 2nd fl., Studio 3.  There will be wine and refreshments included in the $20 cover charge.  The event will include poetry, music, prose, belly dancing, and just a good ol’ time.

     If you like to plan ahead, the Almost Winter Comedy Show on City Island at The Artist, 249 City Island Avenue, will be on December 11^th at 8pm. Only $15 and NO minimum! Mark your calendars now for much laughter.

        I find creating so healing.  And much fun.
